Two bunnies, a Lord’s Prayer bear, Bo* and Mickey Mouse** take turns exploring massive grocery stores, expansive parks and humbling farms with her—“Friends.” In addition to these stuffed companions, she acknowledges familiar grown faces as mommy’s friends, even remembering some of their names and shocking them with conversational greetings. She looks for them after they disappear from her immediate surroundings, knowing that they will likely return. Just like mommy, they’re coming back.
